        Do the markers come with it?

        Yes. 24 color markers in a carry case, with every blanket, every design, every size. They are never a paid extra and never a variant you have to remember to select.

        Does the coloring wash out?

        No, and that is deliberate. The markers are acrylic, so what you color in is permanent, which is exactly what lets you wash the blanket at all. Let it dry for a full day, then wash it cold and inside out. There is a different product on the market that rinses blank so you can start over. This is not that one.

        Is it a proper thick blanket?

        It is a throw. The printed face has to be smooth for ink to sit on it cleanly, so it is not a heavy winter blanket, and we are not going to pretend it is. The back is plain soft plush. It is the right weight for a lap, a sofa, or over the top of a duvet.

        How long does it take to color in?

        Weeks, on purpose. Most people do an hour here and an hour there while something is on TV, and the smaller size takes a few weeks that way. The larger one takes a season and is the one to pick if you want it to last, or if more than one person wants to work on it at the same time.
